What clients worry about before starting.
Common Concerns“I’m not fit enough to start.”
There’s no fitness prerequisite. Strong Start is built for complete beginners — your program starts exactly where you are.
“I won’t know what I’m doing.”
Almost every Strong Start client begins with little to no weights room experience. That’s the norm here, not the exception.
“I’m worried about being judged.”
Hart Strength was built specifically to remove that pressure. Every session is coached, private-studio and judgement-free.
“I signed up nervous and unsure I’d keep it up. Six weeks later I actually look forward to my sessions — and I know exactly what I’m doing when I walk in.”
“Having two sessions a week booked in made all the difference. I finally built a routine instead of relying on willpower alone.”
“I never thought I’d feel comfortable near the squat rack. Ava broke everything down so it never felt like too much at once.”
Before you apply.
FAQsDo I need gym experience?
No. Strong Start is specifically designed for beginners. Most clients start with little to no experience using free weights or gym equipment.
What fitness level do I need?
None in particular. Your program is built around your current ability on day one, and progresses at a pace that suits you.
What should I bring?
Comfortable training clothes, closed-in shoes and a water bottle. Everything else is provided in the studio.
Is this a weight-loss program?
No. Strong Start is focused on building strength, technique and confidence. Many clients notice improved energy and body composition over time, but it isn’t a weight-loss program and progress isn’t measured on the scales.
What happens after the six weeks?
At your review session, you and Ava will map out the best next step — whether that’s continuing with private training, moving into small-group sessions, or transitioning to online coaching.
Where are sessions held?
All Strong Start sessions take place in the private Hart Strength studio in Richmond, Melbourne. Training is by appointment only.
